These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the theslatemethod.com website and your engagement with the services offered by The Slate Method, operated by Rose & Slate LLC, a Washington State limited liability company. By visiting our website, booking a discovery call, or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms.
Services Provided
The Slate Method provides done-for-you CRM infrastructure and email marketing services built on the GoHighLevel platform. Services include a four-week system build and an optional ongoing monthly management retainer. The specific deliverables for each engagement are defined in the Service Agreement signed at the time of purchase.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of our services with reasonable notice. We will not make changes that materially reduce the scope of an active engagement without offering an appropriate accommodation.
Nothing on this website constitutes a guarantee of results. Our service builds and manages your CRM infrastructure. The outcomes you experience depend in large part on how actively you use the system and engage with your contacts.
Payment and Billing
All services are priced in US dollars. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.
The setup fee is charged once at the time of purchase and covers the complete four-week system build. The monthly management retainer is billed on a recurring monthly basis beginning after any applicable trial period.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and make reasonable attempts to collect the outstanding balance. Continued non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
Our refund policy is described in full on the Refund Policy page and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Client Responsibilities
To deliver your system on schedule, we rely on your timely participation. As a client, you agree to:
- Complete all required onboarding forms promptly and accurately
- Provide truthful and accurate information about yourself, your business, and your contacts
- Respond to our requests for review, approval, or clarification within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure that any contact lists you provide have been collected lawfully
- Use your account and all services in compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and any other applicable law governing electronic communications
You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of your contact list and any communications sent through your account. The Slate Method is not liable for any regulatory violations arising from how you use your system.
Intellectual Property
The content delivered as part of your CRM build, including email sequences, landing page copy, and system configurations, is created specifically for you and becomes your property upon completion and payment in full.
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names associated with The Slate Method and Rose & Slate LLC are our exclusive property. Use of our branding without written authorization is prohibited.
The Slate Method retains all rights to its underlying methodology, proprietary frameworks (including the SLATE prompt engine and E.L.F. Formula), templates, training materials, and website content. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell our methodologies or frameworks without written permission.
Confidentiality
Both parties may have access to confidential information in the course of this engagement. We will not share your business information, contact lists, or system details with any third party except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
You agree to keep confidential any proprietary processes, frameworks, pricing structures, or internal materials shared with you in the course of your engagement, and not to share them with any third party without our written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Slate Method provides its website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome, increase in revenue, or growth in referrals as a result of using our services.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rose & Slate LLC and The Slate Method shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages, so some limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service engagement by providing written notice to the other. Termination by you is subject to the terms described in our Refund Policy and your Service Agreement, including any applicable minimum commitment period.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to your account immediately and without notice if you violate these terms, engage in unlawful activity, or use our services in a way that could harm The Slate Method, other clients, or third parties.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Spokane County, Washington.
We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concern before pursuing formal legal action. Most issues can be resolved quickly and in good faith through direct communication.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
For active clients, we will provide advance notice of any material changes via email.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with your signed Service Agreement and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rose & Slate LLC regarding your use of The Slate Method website and services. They supersede any prior understandings or agreements on this subject matter.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
