How It Works, The Slate Method
The Process

Six steps from
first call to
pipeline running.

You hand us the contacts. We build the system, load the sequence, and run it every month. Here is exactly what that looks like, from discovery call to the day your pipeline starts working without you.

01 The Process

Built once.
Runs continuously.

The onboarding process is designed to ask as little of you as possible. One form. One review. One approval. After that, the system takes over and our team keeps it running every month.

Timeline at a glance
Discovery call 30 min
Pay and sign Day 1
Onboarding form Day 1–2
Build + customize Weeks 1–3
Review + approval Week 4
Pipeline goes live Week 4
01
Step One 30 minutes
Discovery Call
We start with a focused conversation, not a sales pitch. Michelle walks through the system, asks about your contacts and your business, and confirms whether The Slate Method is the right fit. If it is not, she will tell you.
What you need to bring: a rough sense of how many contacts you have, what kind of business you run, and what you want referrals to look like. That is it.
02
Step Two Day 1
Pay and Sign
Setup fee collected, agreement signed, and your dedicated subaccount is created inside The Slate Method's GHL agency. From this point, the system is yours and our team starts building.
Your subaccount lives under The Slate Method agency. We control the infrastructure. You own the outcome: the contacts, the relationships, the results.
03
Step Three Day 1–2
Onboarding Form
You complete one form. Your contact list, your voice, how you naturally talk to clients, what feels like you and what does not, the shared affinity your emails will live inside. This is the last time the system needs significant input from you before it goes live.
Plan for 40 to 60 minutes. No technical knowledge required, no platform access needed. The more specific your answers, the more every email sounds like you.
04
Step Four Weeks 1–3
Build + Customize
We clone the master Snapshot into your subaccount, generate your Welcome Series and Main Conversation through the SLATE prompt engine using your onboarding answers, import and tag your contacts, and activate all five core workflows. Each touchpoint is reviewed for authenticity. It should read like it came from you, because it represents you.
The emails are written to open conversations, not close sales. Referrals come from relationships, not pitches.
05
Step Five Week 4
Test + Approval
You review the system before anything goes out. Read through the emails, confirm the voice feels right, and approve the sequence. We test every workflow end to end to confirm everything is functioning exactly as intended. Nothing goes live until you say so.
If anything does not feel like you, we adjust before launch. This is not a rigid template. It is built around who you actually are.
06
Step Six, Ongoing Every Month
Retainer Begins. Pipeline Runs.
Monthly management starts. Your full email library runs on autopilot, sending on the weekly rhythm we built. Our team monitors the system, brings in your new contacts as you meet them, and delivers a brief monthly report so you know what is working. Weekly training calls continue every week, and you have access to the private client community to ask questions, share wins, and learn from other relationship-driven business owners running the system. Your job is to respond to the conversations the system creates and close the business that comes your way.
Your pipeline runs whether or not you are thinking about it. That is the whole point.
02 Your Role

What you do.
What we handle.

The entire system is designed to ask as little of you as possible. Your job is to show up for the conversations it creates, not to run the machine.

Here is your complete list of responsibilities once the system is live.

Your ongoing tasks
1
Respond to replies that come in
When the emails generate conversations, you handle them. That is the point.
2
Send us new contacts as you meet them
Forward us a name and email, or drop them into your intake page yourself. We make sure each one is set up correctly.
3
Review your monthly report
A short summary of what went out, who opened, and what conversations were generated.
4
Show up to the weekly call when you can
Bring questions about your sends, your replies, your contacts. Not required, but included.
Your full email library is written and approved during the build. After that, the sends run on rhythm without per-email review. Everything else, the system monitoring, the maintenance, the new-contact setup, is handled by our team. The weekly training call and the private client community stay open for as long as you stay on the retainer.
